NEW in the Neighborhood– Jun-Men Ramen Bar
A new ramen shop that fuses Eastern and Western cuisines while offering a gourmet twist on the classic noodle dish is coming to the neighborhood. Jun-Men Ramen Bar, located at 249 Ninth Avenue between 25th and 26th streets, will open its doors Thursday. Menu items include Kimchi Ramen with roasted pork shoulder, a French-inspired ramen bowl with uni, roasted pancetta, porcini mushroom butter, fried shallots and scallions, and a Yellowtail ceviche dish with kimchi jus and mango.
After a long remodel the Milk Bar has re-opened! “It’ll spoil you for anything else,” say warm, smitten surveyors of this can’t be beat outlet of an upstate New York dairy (whose fresh products can also be found at gourmet stores around town). Come enjoy farm fresh ice cream, yogurt, milk and a seasonal breakfast and lunch menu featuring Ronnybrook dairy products. Their cheeseburger is an American classic not to be overlooked!
