The Lower East Side’s Hester Street Fair (located at the corner of Hester and Essex Street) is open for its sixth year, taking place on Saturdays from 11am to 6pm and running through October 31st. The dynamic outdoor market in the heart of the historic Lower East Side hosts a slew of new vendors this season. This year’s offerings include Egyptian baked goods from Baladi, Field & Clover’s buttermilk biscuits, Taiwanese cuisine from Kaya NYC, Malaysian desserts made by Tasty Theater, and all-natural ice pops from Mom & Popsicles, to name a few. Sample artisanal street food and baked goods while shopping for records, vintage clothing, handmade jewelry, and other arts and crafts in an atmosphere that captures the essence of old and new NYC.
