The popular vegan restaurant serving favorites like avocado toast, burgers, mac and cheese, and cinnamon rolls is at the top of our list this year. Their caesar salad is a lunch-time favorite for many and once you take a bite you’ll understand why.

Kith Treats
233 Flatbush Ave
Prospect Heights, Brooklyn

The cereal bar offers 24 cereals, 25 toppings, and five milk options. Servings come in custom box sets designed to look like shoe boxes, a nod to the hip, high-end store that houses Kith.

 The Rickey

We can’t help but shamelessly plug our newest addition at Dream Midtown, The Rickey. It is mostly cocktails but a tight menu of lighter fare helps make this one of our must-see places.

Matcha Bar
93 Wythe Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11249
256 W 15th Street, New York, NY 10011

MatchaBar just opened its newest location in Chelsea, right down the street from the Dream Downtown. Get your matcha fix iced, hot or even in a latte. Our favorite is the earthy, frothy coconut chai!

Jun-Men Ramen
249 Ninth Ave, New York, NY 10001

Everyone is talking about Jun-Men Ramen. We first mentioned it back when it opened in the end of November and we’re still obsessed. Each bowl is smaller in size than you may be used to but it’s so big in flavor you won’t mind.

 Los Tacos No. 1
Chelsea Market

Tucked inside Chelsea Market, Los Tacos No. 1 makes our list of for the sole reason that’s simply delicious. It’s delicious and always worth waiting in line.

Black Tap
529 Broome St, New York, NY 10013

Black Tap is the type of place you try not to tell people about because it’s that good. We’ll introduce you to some of their secret menu items next month but until then let’s look back at the chorizo burger, an item we featured this past year, because it’s changing peoples lives. Chorizo with jack cheese, chipotle mayo, and pickled jalepenos. Mouth-watering. Scared of carbs? Easy. Get it in salad form.
